The exhibition seeks to move beyond the rigid framework of conventional museum models, creating an open space that reflects the voices and experiences of people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. In response, we actively employed industrial-exterior materials and vivid colors that deviate from the museum’s restrained image. The design of the furniture drew inspiration from the colors and imagery evoked by the exhibition’s title. Given the participatory nature of the exhibition, which hosts numerous citizen workshops, we also designed modular furniture that can be freely reconfigured to suit different situations.
수원시립미술관 10주년 특별전 《모두에게: 초콜릿, 레몬에이드 그리고 파티》의 전시 공간 디자인을 진행했습니다.
본 전시는 기존 미술관 모델의 경직된 틀을 벗어나, 서로 다른 사회·문화적 배경을 지닌 사람들의 목소리와 경험을 반영하는 열린 공간을 지향합니다. 이에 따라 미술관의 단정한 이미지에서 벗어난 외부/산업 재료와 고채도의 컬러를 적극적으로 사용했습니다. 전시 제목이 떠올리게 하는 색감과 이미지를 상상하며 집기를 디자인했습니다.
